The theoretical framework of my understanding of child psychology is based in the main on Freudian psychoanalytic thought. The emphasis, however is on the idea of art as therapy rather on psychotherapy which uses art as a tool.”
L’idea di un’arte come terapia piuttosto che una psicoterapia che usa l’arte come uno strumento. L’idea della Kramer dell’arteterapia come forma di terapia che non vuole sostituirsi alla psicoterapia, ma che ha una propria scientificità fondata sull’eredità freudiana è uno dei fondamenti delle artiterapie a orientamento filosofico.
